I’d like to get a few things off my laptop, before the end of the CWS and the beginning of summer vacation:
» Last Saturday night I went to a baseball game with an electric atmosphere and big crowd watching future major leaguers.
Yep. The Storm Chasers.
Omaha lost to Memphis, 3-1, but it was an afterthought on a busy night in Baseball Town, USA.
The Chasers drew their largest crowd of the season — 8,424. It was Alex Gordon superhero bobblehead night, mind you. But K.C. ace Danny Duffy was making his first appearance since suffering an oblique strain in late May.
