Despite a first-half scare, Penn State’s men’s basketball (3-0) defeated St. Francis (Pa.) (1-3) 92-62 at the Bryce Jordan Center Tuesday night.
Penn State opened the game right where it left off as Ace Baldwin Jr. delivered an alley-oop to Yanic Konan Niederhauser on the opening play of the game. The Nittany Lions proceeded to go on a quick 11-0 run, shooting four-for-four from the floor and receiving three points each from Baldwin, Zach Hicks, and Puff Johnson.
The offensive heat in the first two minutes of the game quickly cooled off thanks to a Red Flash timeout, as the visiting team slowly fought its way back into the game.
