PHILADELPHIA — Penn State continued to play its hot hand on the recruiting trail Tuesday when four-star safety Isheem Young became the 20th member of the Class of 2018.
The Imhotep Charter star has been a sought after prospect for a while: The Nittany Lions extended their offer to him in February 2016 when Young was entering the spring of his sophomore year.
Whatever growth and development the Penn State coaching staff saw in him obviously continued. Young is one of the top players in the state and arguably the top player in Philadelphia, one who appears to have a bright future at the next level.
