On Monday, the Big Ten Conference named its players of the week in various categories.
The conference honored K.J. Winston as the B1G Defensive Player of the Week for his performance in Penn State’s 34-12 win at West Virginia on Saturday.
Against the Mountaineers, Winston tied his career high with 12 tackles, eight of those coming in the first half. Winston also forced a fumble for the Lions.
USC’s Miller Moss (Offensive Player of the Week), UCLA’s Mateen Bhagani (co-Special Teams Player of the Week), Michigan’s Dominic Zvada (co-Special Teams Player of the Week), and Nebraska’s Dylan Raiola (Freshman of the Week) were also honored.
