After a long and grueling season, Penn State men’s hockey is set to close out its home slate this weekend against the No. 2 team in the country, the Minnesota Golden Gophers, at Pegula Ice Arena.
With a 17-11-4 record, the Nittany Lions are buzzing after toppling former No. 1 Michigan State in a sweep, looking to further flex their muscles against the Big Ten’s latest top dog, Minnesota.
Coach Guy Gadowsky almost couldn’t contain his excitement when anticipating playing in front of Penn State's home crowd.
“The atmosphere at the Pegula is always awesome…Off the hook, it’s fantastic,” Gadowsky said.
