A less than stellar start to the offseason may have gotten even worse on Friday afternoon when Lions247 reported that rising sophomore guard Rasir Bolton was in the NCAA transfer portal.
Bolton was a bright light as a freshman, averaging 11.6 points per game while shooting 36.1% from three on 4.5 attempts per game. Sure, Bolton was shaky at times — often times forcing shots that weren’t there — but for a Penn State offense that has had its fair share of struggles during the Chambers tenure, Bolton looked like a future 20 points per game scorer.
Speaking of Chambers, this can only be classified as bad news.
