At the last minute, the Southern Scuffle just may produce another breakout performance from another star Penn State freshman.
The highly-touted Gavin Teasdale will make his debut in a Penn State singlet tomorrow at the Southern Scuffle in Chattanooga, Tenn. The freshman, who was a four-time PIAA state champion, will have his redshirt burned and will compete as an attached wrestler with the Nittany Lions.
After announcing that he was leaving during the fall semester due to health issues, he is back with the Nittany Lions and ready to compete.
According to Christian Pyles of FloWrestling, Teasdale was seen walking in with the team and was added to the roster for Penn State, per the tournament director.
