When the hiring of Micah Shrewsberry as Penn State’s next head coach was announced, many speculated that he took the job only after being promised a greater investment by the athletic department into the program, including a bigger salary pool to hire assistant coaches.
Sure enough, it seems like that is the case, as Stadium’s Jeff Goodman broke the news on Twitter earlier today that Adam Fisher will be leaving his current post as Jim Larranaga’s offensive coordinator at Miami (FL) to become an assistant coach under Shrews at PSU.
Adam is quite familiar with Happy Valley, being a Pennsylvania native and PSU alum himself.
