Position Grades: Notre Dame

Well folks, it’s been a hell of a ride! I’m sure Chris will have his deep thoughts for you in next week’s MMQB, but I want to take a moment to say that this has felt like the most successful football season since at least 2016, and the best one of the James Franklin era so far. The team finally got over the 10-2 hump and finished with an 11-1 regular season record. This included a blowout win in a potential land mine of a road opener at West Virginia, bringing that White Out...Energy against a ranked Illinois team, overcoming adversity in a few road games that in previous years they would have lost (USC, Wisconsin, and Minnesota), as well as having to quickly bounce back after yet another loss to Ohio State and not allow the Buckeyes to beat them twice, which they did in blowout fashion against Washington in the “official” White Out.
