Well, that was a fitting end to what Chris T best described as a “short, strange, trip” of a season! Personally, I’m glad the team declined a bowl game, even if I’m selfishly sad to see the 16-year non-losing season streak come to an end. In these awful times, it’s best that the players and staff spend the holiday season with their loved ones, instead of preparing to travel and play in another big empty stadium in a meaningless bowl game.
