Enai White took a circuitous path to joining Penn State. As a former blue chip recruit, James Franklin went hard after Enai in the 2022 recruiting cycle. Unfortunately Penn State lost out to Texas A&M, and the Lions had to settle for Abdul Carter.

In all seriousness, White was one that I, as a fan, was highly interested in. Coming out of Imhotep Institute in Philadelphia, and as a four-star defensive end, White checked all of the boxes that Penn State wanted to hit. Sometimes the other guy just beats you.
