The Philadelphia Eagles abandoned their left guard rotation during Thursday's victory over the Panthers, handing former Penn State star Stefen Wisniewski the full workload at the position.
After splitting time with Chance Warmack in the previous three games, Wisniewski played all 62 offensive snaps for the Birds in their 28-23 triumph over Carolina, a short-week win that catapults Philly to the top of the heap in the NFC. At 5-1, the Eagles have the best record in the conference and are tied for the top mark in the NFL.
But the day after the eye-opening performance, Eagles coach Doug Pederson did not concede that Wisniewski will maintain a stranglehold on the left guard job.
