PHILADELPHIA -- A smile formed on Eagles coach Doug Pederson's face when a reporter asked about third-string quarterback Matt McGloin during Sunday's news conference. Pederson, a former reserve signal-caller in the NFL himself, went on to rave about McGloin's attitude throughout the summer.
"He's done a great job for us," Pederson said, mentioning a touchdown drive McGloin led against the Dolphins' starters in a preseason game last week. "He's done everything we've asked him to do. Been very pleased with him. He's a smart kid. He's tough. Mentally and physically, he's tough. He's been a pleasure to have in camp.
