Throughout the first half of Friday’s game against Michigan State, Peyton Jones looked unbeatable.
He made save after save, and with Penn State up 3-0, the game looked all but over.
But with the score at 3-1, one play seemed to change everything.
A weak shot by the Spartans’ Taro Hirose deflected off Jones’ stick into the net. Just like that, it was 3-2, and Michigan State had all the momentum.
