Raquel “Rocky” Rodriguez ended her Penn State soccer career in style on Friday night.
The senior was presented the MAC Hermann Trophy in St. Louis, Missouri.
Rodriguez is the second Nittany Lion to win the award, following in the footsteps of Christie Welsh in 2001.
The award will have some company on Rocky’s mantle, as she has earned herself an extensive list of accolades throughout her collegiate career.
In the 2015 season alone, Rodriguez has gained the National Soccer Coaches Association of America Scholar Player of the Year, NSCAA First Team All-American, Honda Sport Award Winner, Women’s College Cup All-Tournament Team, Most Outstanding Player on Offense of he Women’s College Cup, and the 2015 National Championship among others.
