Orangeville, Illinois native, Tessa Janecke set the program record in points at 138 in Penn State’s sweep against Syracuse. Winning Game 2, 4-0, Janecke made a name for herself that will go down in history for the blue and white.
Before Janecke received the title, 2022 graduate Natalie Heising owned the program record. Tallying 137 points in her career, Heising was the offensive powerhouse for Penn State women’s hockey. Today, Heising is accompanied by Janecke as two of the largest names in program history.
Entering the 2024-25 campaign, Janecke tallied 100 points in her career. After totaling 38 points this season, the forward has already marked her name in the record books with the rest of the season left to play.
