MADISON, Wisc. -- Penn State quarterback Drew Allar did not start the second half of Saturday's game at Wisconsin.
Late in the second quarter, Allar walked gingerly to the sideline, favoring his left knee. Before the end of the half, he limped to the locker room with a Penn State trainer, at one point exchanging heated words with a Wisconsin fan standing on the sideline.
Allar came out of halftime with a brace on the knee and tried to play. But after a couple of warmup throws, he walked over to the Penn State coaches shaking his head.
