Just 10 picks after Olu Fashanu went off the board at #11 to the Jets, Chop Robinson would be the second Nittany Lion selected in the NFL Draft. Robinson is the first round pick of the Miami Dolphins, where he was selected 21st overall.
Robinson started his career at Maryland, but decided to head to Happy Valley after one season with the Terps. It turned out to be the right decision, as Robinson would excel as a standout defensive end for one of the nation’s best defenses during his two years with Penn State, which as a unit lead the nation in both sacks and TFLs over that span.
