After taking last week off, we’re back with another edition of X-factors. To be honest, it was pretty difficult coming up with a few such factors against such an overmatched opponent like Kent State, but we’re going to give it a shot....

1. Dejuan Lane, Come on Down!

With KJ Winston out with a “long-term injury” expect to see the true freshman step in and play a bigger role in the safety spot opposite Zakee Wheatley. Lane has gotten quite a bit of praise from the coaching staff and Kent State might be the perfect game for him to get his feet wet and gain some critical playing experience.
