Following a year that was laden with injuries and a failure to garner a second-straight All-American nod, Shakur Rasheed announced via Instagram on Tuesday night that he's returning to Penn State for one more season.
Rasheed, who was an All-American at 197 pounds in 2018, wrestled in just eight of Penn State's 14 duals this past season and medically forfeited the final of the Big Ten tournament at 184 pounds against Ohio State's Myles Martin.
In his first season at 184 pounds, Rasheed went 20-2 with 16 bonus point wins and he has accumulated a career record of 66-15 across four different weight classes during his time at Penn State.
