It's rare to see a college wrestler compete in another sport, but Matt McCutcheon is going to make the transition to the baseball diamond.
McCutcheon tweeted last month that he will join the Penn State baseball team this spring, while still wrestling in the winter.
The Penn State baseball team and manager Rob Cooper announced on Wednesday that the team has 13 newcomers this fall — and McCutcheon is one of them.

McCutcheon is entering his final season of eligibility with the wrestling team, and is coming off a season in which he went 20-6 as the starter at 197 lbs.
