Last season was uncharacteristic for coach Cael Sanderson's squad.
Sure, Penn State did what it usually does and won a national title — the seventh the Nittany Lions have won in the last eight years.
But there were large stretches of the season filled with more questions than most for a team that's become a mainstay on the podium come NCAA tournament time.
Yet the totality of last year's questions — the biggest of which included how to replace two-time national champion at 157 Jason Nolf and who to start at 197 come the postseason — are dwarfed by questions the Nittany Lions will have to deal with this season.
