For the fifth time is six years Penn State wrestling is the national champion.
The Nittany Lions didn’t even have to wait until the tournament finals to claim the NCAA title on Saturday in New York City at Madison Square Garden.
With a loss by wrestlers from Virginia Tech and Oklahoma State, coach Cael Sanderson’s squad mathematically clinched the championship before the final session took place.
