Penn State is coming off a successful weekend after winning road matches against two Big Ten contending teams.
Now, the No. 2 Nittany Lions will return to Rec Hall for the first time in over a month to face No. 10 Rutgers, which is arguably the best Scarlet Knights team the Lions have faced in a while.
The Lions (6-0, 2-0) will face off against the Knights (7-1, 2-0) in another dual meet at 7 p.m. on Jan. 13.
The Lions defeated No. 14 Minnesota handily, 33-6, and No. 6 Nebraska, 27-14 this past weekend.
“We had two tough opponents on the road,” coach Cael Sanderson said.
