Bo Nickal has a knack for silencing hostile crowds.
Nickal needed only 38 seconds to silence a raucous crowd on the road against Iowa earlier this season. And on Sunday in Stillwater, Oklahoma, he needed just 38 seconds again.
Nickal pinned fourth-ranked Nolan Boyd in the first period, highlighting Penn State's huge comeback victory in the NWCA Dual Series Championship.
The Nittany Lions (14-0, 9-0) won the final seven bouts of the match and overcame a 13-0 deficit to defeat top-ranked Oklahoma State (14-1, 6-0) 27-13. Penn State finished the season undefeated for the second straight year and have now won back-to-back NWCA Dual Series Championships, both over Oklahoma State.
