Penn State wrestling gets three No. 1 seeds for the NCAA Championships

The brackets are set for Penn State’s trip to Manhattan next week. The NCAA Wrestling Championships seeds have been announced and as expected, the Nittany Lions have three No. 1 seeds.

Morgan McIntosh (197 pounds), Bo Nickal (174 pounds) and Zain Retherford (149 pounds) are the top seeds in their divisions. All three of the Lions' No. 1 seeds are Big Ten Champions this year. McIntosh and Retherford are two of eight competitors in the tournament that are undefeated.

Cael Sanderson’s squad also has two No. 3 seeds. Both Nico Megaludis (125 pounds) and Jason Nolf (157 Pounds) finished as runner-ups in the Big Ten Tournament.
