Penn State wrestling clinches 13th national championship, 12th under Sanderson

Entering as the heavy favorites, Penn State wrestling officially clinched the 2025 National Championship just 14 minutes into Session V.

The Nittany Lions entered the day with 135.5 points, needing just 4.5 points to clinch the title. Shayne Van Ness' pinfall victory over Oregon State's Ethan Stiles in the consolation semifinals clinched the title at 11:14 a.m.
