Cael Sanderson made a bold statement to the rest of the college wrestling world last Friday — he’s going for it all.
In the middle of No. 1 Penn State wrestling’s most competitive and intense match of the season, against third-ranked Iowa, standout freshman Mark Hall was sent out on the mat to compete in a dual-meet for the first time in his collegiate career.
Despite not wrestling with the team in dual-meets until then, Hall has still been a well-known name throughout the wrestling world.
Hall was the No. 1 overall recruit for the Class of 2016 and competed in the 2016 Olympic Trials right out of high school, advancing to the quarterfinals.
