Following a dominant 11-1 quarterfinals victory, Penn State's Aaron Brooks moved onto the semifinals of the men's 86kg wrestling event.
In the semis, Brooks fell to Bulgaria's Magomed Ramazanov, 4-3. The low-scoring contest was an even battle until the end when Ramazanov pulled ahead.
Brooks' chance at a gold medal is over, but the wrestler will still have a shot at securing a bronze medal on Friday.
