As the weekend draws nearer, Russ Rose must make a decision.
On Tuesday, when asked about who he was going to choose as his setter for the season-opening Friday night match against West Virginia — Penn State’s first of three games in the Penn State Classic — Rose said he didn’t know as his choice changed every day.
“If you look at it from that standpoint,” Rose said. “I guess it’s not a great thing, but I think all of [the setters] have different strengths. If they do a nice job, they’ll stay out there. If they mess up a bit, then we’ll give someone else an opportunity.
