It was the kind of weekend that could only be considered typical for a program as dominant as Penn State’s.

As expected, the Nittany Lions cruised through the opening weekend of the 2018 season, scoring straight-set victories over Eastern Kentucky, UMBC and Navy to improve to 3-0 following the Penn State Classic.

While each game saw a new face step up to lead the Nittany Lions offensively, there was one name that was consistently near the top: graduate transfer and outside hitter Taylor Leath.
