One would expect coach Russ Rose to be a little more upset at the fact his team — a team which isn’t used to playing badly this early in the season — is currently on a three-game losing streak.
However, as Rose reclined on his memorial bench outside of Rec Hall, his eyes closed as sweat gathered on his tanned face while talking about his team’s weekend losses to Colorado and Stanford on Saturday and Sunday, respectively, he seemed almost relaxed.
“We’re not as accustomed to being in the situation we’re in right now,” Rose said. “Not every experience is a good one but every experience is valuable.
