Katie Schumacher-Cawley has made a splash for her squad.
Penn State earned a commitment from Danielle Whitmire, which she announced via her Instagram on Sunday.
Whitmire is a 6-foot-2 setter that will join the 2026 class for the Nittany Lions. She plays for Walnut Grove High School in Texas along with playing for Texas Advantage Volleyball Club.
She is the first member of the 2026 recruiting class to commit for the blue and white.
