With a determined senior class that’s striving to end their careers with a national title, Penn State was undaunted by the challenge it faced on Saturday at Rec Hall.

The top-seeded Nittany Lions overcame a very sturdy Michigan State team in straight sets (25-23, 25-17, 28-26) to advance to the Final Four of the 2017 NCAA Women’s Volleyball Championships.

This is the first Final Four for Penn State since the 2014 season, a year in which the Nittany Lions took home their seventh National Championship.

The victory is the 23rd straight for Penn State as the Nittany Lions defeated the Spartans for the third time this year to improve to 33-1 on the season.
