Last night, Penn State women's volleyball supported Breast Cancer Awareness Month during its Dig Pink game against Ohio State.

The combination of the Dig Pink match and the Buckeyes rivalry was enough to attract numerous alumni and first-time fans.

For two freshmen in particular, Alisa Vasquez (freshman-broadcast journalism) and Becca Gurst (freshman—kinesiology), the “Dig Pink” game marked their first time at Rec Hall.

Vasquez and Gurst were both impressed by the amount of spirit shown at Rec Hall. However, Vasquez admitted that she wasn’t too surprised. She said Penn State sporting events brings the whole community together.
