Penn State’s Chelsea Sawyer is quickly adjusting to life in Happy Valley—and its weather.
Sawyer became a Nittany Lion after she transferred from the University of Tennessee last fall.
It didn’t take long for the sophomore to pick out the biggest difference between Tennessee and Penn State when she moved in on campus.
“Honestly, the weather is the biggest change for me,” Sawyer said.
The Clemmons, North Carolina, native was a five-star recruit in high school who ranked as high as No. 27 in her recruiting class.
While deciding where she wanted to play tennis in college, Sawyer ultimately chose Tennessee over Penn State and others.
