For most of the alumni, athletes and students putting on their blue and white, this weekend came with excitement and perhaps some sunburn.
But for four members of the Penn State women’s tennis team there was added emotion as they put on their blue and white uniforms for their last time in Happy Valley.
“We want to win every match but being the last home match of the season and the last home match for our seniors gave us extra motivation,” coach Chris Cagle said.
This motivation was not enough to surmount the Big Ten competition brought on by Northwestern and Illinois Friday and Sunday, respectively.
