Penn State women’s swimming and diving kickstarted 2025 postseason play with the Big Ten Championships in McCorkle Aquatic Pavilion in Columbus, Ohio.
The schedule for the first day of the four-day event was light, featuring only the 200-yard medley relay and the 800-yard medley. Nonetheless, the action was still significant, pitting the conference’s top swimmers against one another.
The 200-yard event featured the Nittany Lions’ A-unit of Ellie Brandbergh, Audrey Cohen, Margaret Makvardt and Maura Fluehr.
This event wasn’t fruitful for the blue and white, as its time of 1:39.38 ranked 12th out of 14 schools.
