On Friday the Big Ten announced its annual end-of-season awards for women’s soccer, which include nine members from Penn State.
Headlining the accolades is coach Erica Dambach, who was named Big Ten Coach of the Year after leading the Nittany Lions to a 13-5 record overall, while posting a 9-2 record in the Big Ten. This marks the fourth occasion Dambach has received this award.
Penn State’s Kaleigh Riehl was named Big Ten Defender of the Year, capping off her excellent regular season in which she started every game and was a stalwart on an elite backline that recorded nine clean sheets.
