The Boilermakers came out of the gates fast and quickly put pressure on a relaxed Penn State defense. Purdue’s Maddy Williams scored in the 13th minute from 24 yards out.
Penn State dominated the offensive third after going down 1-0 in the first half, rattling off a total of seven shots and putting continuous pressure on the Boilermaker defense.
