A Penn State defender has recorded her third Big Ten award in her collegiate career.
Mieke Schiemann was named Big Ten Defensive Player of the Week following the blue and white’s conference win over Michigan.

Schiemann earned her first goal of the 2024 season against the Wolverines, securing the 6-0 victory for the Nittany Lions.
The Berlin native received Penn State’s second Big Ten Conference weekly award of the season.
