Penn State has just secured its fifth-consecutive win after going 2-0 this weekend, and it refuses to be stopped.
The Nittany Lions shut out two key Big Ten contenders at Jeffrey Field this past weekend, improving to 11-5 on the season and 7-2 in the conference.
Their defense shut out both Maryland and Rutgers in this weekend’s battles, leading to 1-0 victories in both matchups.
“It’s been a battle and obviously it feels great,” coach Erica Dambach said. “We’ve had to work for it and that’s how you want it to be. I love the direction the league’s going, it’s getting more and more challenging and we’re going to have to learn to grind.
