It’s been 25 years in the making for Penn State.
The quarter-century of program history was on full display on Saturday, as the Nittany Lions held Alumni Day to celebrate Penn State women’s soccer’s 25th anniversary as a varsity program. A total of 56 alumni returned to Jeffrey Field to watch the blue and white take on UCLA.
The alumni ranged from the Class of 1981 to the Class of 2018, representing all three of the varsity coaches in program history – Patrick Farmer, Paula Wilkins and current coach Erica Dambach. Notable alums included Megan Schafer, Christie Welsh and Kindra Kohne.
