Penn State earned its fifth straight win by defeating No. 22 USC, 16-8, in a physical matchup at Panzer Stadium.

The Nittany Lions showcased their aggressive style and second-half dominance to help pull away from the Trojans, who struggled to keep up after halftime.

The first half was a back-and-forth battle, with neither team able to gain a clear advantage over the other. They were both able to stay at each other’s heels, with Penn State winning 11 draw controls, but USC was able to gain an advantage when the blue and white turned the ball over nine times.
