Penn State women's lacrosse picks up a big win against Johns Hopkins

Penn State women’s lacrosse picked up a much needed win Thursday night against No. 21 Johns Hopkins.

The Nittany Lions improved to 7-7 on the season and 2-3 in conference play and, more importantly, kept their conference tournament hopes alive. The Blue Jays fell to 10-6 on the season and 2-3 in conference play.

The win puts Penn State in the driver’s seat to earn the fourth and final spot in the Big Ten Tournament. Michigan, Northwestern, and Maryland have already clinched spots in the Big Ten Tournament. Penn State’s win ensures them the fourth spot if they win on the 27th against Rutgers.
