Penn State returned home to Panzer Stadium and extended its win streak, defeating its next Big Ten opponent, Rutgers, on Thursday.
The Nittany Lions held the Scarlet Knights to a 12-10 victory.
At the first whistle, Erika Ho earned possession of the ball and immediately started a rhythm on offense. The Nittany Lions scored the first of the match when Brooke Hoss sent a fastball to the net on a free-position shot.
The Scarlet Knights wasted no time on defense. Only a minute later, Charlee Thomas picked up a groundball and created momentum for Delainey Sutley to tie the match 1-1.
