Penn State came into its game with No. 7 Northwestern with the opportunity to secure back-to-back wins against top-10 teams, but it left the field empty handed.
Northwestern was the better team on the field Saturday night against Penn State. It showed as the Nittany Lions never had a lead during the entirety of the match, falling 17-13.
Early in the game the team wasn’t able to grab any of the momentum and the Wildcats did by capitalizing off of Penn State’s missed shots.
Both teams were fast but throughout the game, especially in the first half.
