The Nittany Lions returned from a week-long break to take on Southern California on Sunday afternoon. Celebrating some of its stars, Penn State painted the day blue and white, recognizing eight seniors and three team managers for senior day.
Fans from Happy Valley to the West Coast covered the stands for a sunny day and intense matchup.
The blue and white dominated the second half of the contest, posting a 16-8 victory over USC in a rapid-fire match.
Erika Ho clutched initial possession for Penn State, collecting draw control to begin the contest. Her efforts were overtaken by Maddie Dora, leaving the Nittany Lions trailing by one less than two minutes in.
