Penn State regained its rhythm and took control in Wednesday afternoon’s game against Duquesne.
With points on the board from 10 different Penn State players, the Nittany Lions came away with a whopping 19-8 win over the Dukes.
After two close-knit games against Towson and Lehigh, the Nittany Lions feel they’ve finally tied some of their loose ends on the field.
“I think they did a really good job of playing faster today,” coach Missy Doherty said. “We want to challenge our speed and really use our aggressiveness right from the beginning.”
Midfielder Katie O’Donnell came out strong with two goals against the Dukes within the first six minutes of play.
