Michael Molster was announced as a new addition to the assistant coaching staff of head coach Missy Doherty, becoming the third assistant coach on staff.
Molster spent the past seven years as the assistant coach at Towson University, a program with a strong defense led by him that was highlighted by three straight NCAA tournament appearances from 2016 to 2018. The Tigers were top-10 in the nation in goals against average and caused turnovers in that particular three year period.
Penn State was able to secure a win against Towson last season.
"I'd like to thank Missy for this tremendous opportunity," Molster told GoPSUSports.
